For the first time in Utah’s history, a vice presidential debate will be coming to the Beehive State. A statewide essay contest hosted by the Utah Debate Commission is underway to engage students at all levels, from kindergarten to college, in the electoral process.
The 300-word submissions should answer the question: If you could ask the vice presidential candidates one question, what would you ask and why?
As you review the annotations, notice how the feedback tracks the logical flow of the author’s arguments.
